1.  Call to order.

2.  Open session: Statements at the podium on any topic, limited to two minutes. Maximum number of speakers per session is three. No discussion is permitted, and no votes will be taken. 10 minutes or less.

3.  Reports from the President of ASUA, the President of GPSC, the Vice Chair of the Faculty,the Secretary of the Faculty,  the Chair of the Faculty, the Provost, the President of the University. 35 minutes.

4.  Question and answer period for agenda item 3. 15 minutes.

5.  Approval of the minutes of September 9, 2002 (enclosure). 2 minutes.

6.  Information Item: Demonstration of on-line voting – Nancy Huber, Chair, Committee on Elections, and Laura Cisneros, CCIT. 15 minutes

7.  Information Item: Report from Capital Campaign – Tom Sanders. 15 minutes

8.  Faculty Recommendations for Intercollegiate Athletics Committee membership (enclosure). 2 minutes

9.  Information Item: Report from the Senate Task Force for Monitoring Labor and Human Rights Issues, Senator Schlager. 5 minutes.

10.Discussion and action: APPC seconded motion re: Policy for Managing Personal Conflicts of Interest (enclosure) – Senator Kiefer. 20 minutes.

11. First Reading: RPC seconded motion re: Policy on Ethics in Scholarly, Creative, and Research Activities and Procedures for Investigations of Misconduct (enclosure) – Senator Pintozzi. 5 minutes.

12. Old business. 3 minutes.

13. New business. 3 minutes.

14. Adjournment.
