Call to order.

Open session: 15 minutes or less. Statements at the podium on any topic, limited to two minutes. Maximum number of speakers per session is six. No discussion is permitted, and no votes will be taken.

Reports from the President of ASUA, the President of GPSC, the Vice Chair of the Faculty, the Secretary of the Faculty, the Chair of the Faculty, the Provost of the University, and the President of the University.

Approval of the minutes of September 13, 1999 (copy enclosed).

Discussion and action on consent agenda items forwarded from the Instruction and Curriculum Policy Committee – Senator Howell – Chair, ICPC.

Information Item: The Draft Policy On Ethics In Research And Procedures For Investigations Of Misconduct In Research is being reviewed by the Research Policy Committee – Ralph Fregosi, Chair, RPC.
