1.         Call to order.
 

2.         Open session: Statements at the podium on any topic, limited to two minutes.  Maximum number of speakers per session is six.  No discussion is permitted, and no votes will be taken.  15 minutes or less.
 

3.         Reports from the President of ASUA, the President of GPSC, the Secretary of the Faculty, the Chair of the Faculty, the Provost of the University, and the President of the University.  25 minutes.
 

4.         Question and answer period for agenda item 3.  10 minutes.
 

5.         Approval of the minutes of May 3, 2004 (copies enclosed).  2 minutes.
 

6.         ICPC Consent Agenda (enclosure).  3 minutes.
 

7.         Information and discussion: Institute for Global Pharmaceutical Development – Dr. Raymond Woosley, Vice President for Health Sciences and Bruce Wright, Associate Vice President of Economic Development.  20 minutes.
 

8.         Discussion and possible action: Revised Shared Governance Memorandum of Understanding (enclosure) – Secretary Mitchell, President Likins. 10 minutes.
 

9.         Information and discussion: Committee of Eleven Proposal on the Review of Service Units (enclosure) – Committee of Eleven Chair J.D. Garcia and Vice Chair Silverman. 15 minutes.
 

10.     Information and discussion: Committee of Eleven Budget Concerns Resolution (enclosure) – Committee of Eleven Chair J.D. Garcia and Vice Chair Silverman. 15 minutes.
 

11.     Old business.  3 minutes.

12.     New business.  3 minutes.

13.     Executive Session: Discussion and action on honorary degree nominations (copies will be placed on Senators’ desks on October 4, 2004).

14.     Adjournment.
